I had my first earthquake...
It's kind of like when I waited for two hours when "Tower of Terror" first opened. Cool but over way too fast. I'm not saying houses should be leveled, lives get ruined, and people die just for a few more seconds of entertainment but i do believe in living up to hype. Damn it, now I'm insulting Ryan Leaf, Transfomers, and lobster. Point is, I don't want people to suffer but I want to have fun and it seems those things always get grouped together. The end.

there's a facebook group called "I survived my first earthquake on 10/30/07" and it's mostly northern CA high school students who were born after the 1989 earthquake. You can join too. :)
Jason. I'm sorry that your first earthquake experience did not live up to the hype. Being a California native myself I can guarantee that earthquakes in California can "knock your socks off". I hope shortly to read in the obituaries about you having truly enjoyed a California sized quake...but until then...good luck with your blog, it's gonna need it.
Living in Northridge, wikipedia it and look what happened in '94 if you dont know the place, earthquakes are not fun. I take great offense to your wishing of the big one. I'm sure you were upset that your first hurricane didnt live up to the hype until Andrew hit. Thanks for killing us all now Jason I just hope it hits Stupid hippie town and not here.
i hope that during the "big one" im dancing with a hot girl. and at this moment one of her dance moves will be to jump, and the earthquake hits but she is not affected because she jumped, and i dont jump but i shake like crazy and then she will think im a really good dancer. its a tough way to get points with a girl but it does put a positive spin on the hundreds of thousands of people that will die that day.
