i'm not really sure you can agree with a question Debbie...it's not even a rhetorical question....he really just wants to know what topics the publication encompasses. Jason, I too am clueless, but judging from the title and your quote...there are probably many pictures of celebrities in it. your blog sucks by the way. may i suggest some real topics?
"There are no more than one handful of good comedy movies in the past decade(literally 5 at the MOST)" "Soccer sucks" "Were the Chinese playing so much checkers they simply NEEDED to find a way for 6 of them to play at once" "If monopolies are against the law...isn't the game simply reinforcing illegal behavior?" "Soccer Sucks real bad"
oops my comment was supposed to say "I agree, I don't get Vogue. They are filled with ads and mostly they ads are of anorexic girls with a lot of bad makeup. And I typically like magazines, especially girly magazines, and if I'm not buying Vogue, I dont really get who's buying Vogue." And I don't mean to stand up for Jason, but in a way, i don't really think his blog sucks. Ramon do you have a blog?
Jason, I love your blog. Ahhh, my perfect child, again! However, I was suprised to see your writing sprinkled with "damns" and "hell". What comes next? Is this gateway vocabulary?
why is everyone so quick to assume that jason is referring to the magazine? I believe he requested information on the origins of the homosexual dance craze of the early nineties... Clearly he's trying to understand the homo community on a different level; evident from his "Systematic Desensitization" post.
Here Jason:
There are currently two distinct styles (or "schools") of vogue: Old Way (pre-1990) and New Way (post 1990). Old Way is characterized by formation of lines, symmetry, and precision in the execution of such formations and graceful, fluid-like action. New Way is characterized by a more rigid, geometric pattern movement coupled with "clicks" (limb contortions at the joints) and "arms control" (sleight of hand and wrist illusions, which usually include "tuts" or "tutting" and locking). New Way can also be described as a modified form of mime, where imaginary geometric shapes such as a box are introduced during motion and moved progressively around the dancer's body to display the dancer's dexterity and memory.
OMG I work at Vogue magazine now, Lions20r just reminded me of this post. Vogue is the #1 magazine in the world... the most iconic of all... in a league of its own ... :)
Living in Miami, Jason came to LA accompanied by his manager, Alex Usategui, fiercely determined to rewrite the history books. It was a bold move for the two wide-eyed travelers. The idea was met with much skepticism and disdain, but nothing was going to obstruct them on their path to greatness. They arrived with a fervor and passion the world had never seen, but apparently "history" had already been written and there was no room for "complete disregard for facts and common sense." With those hope shattering words from the Department of History at USC, Jason left and discoverd Hawaii where he won the Nobel Peace Prize for inventing "solar power" and eventually set in motion a plan that took down the Berlin Wall which unified North and South Korea.
